I’m from Panama, born and raised, and is a wonderful city. It had grown so much in just few years. But Panama City is kind of noisy, lots of traffic and cars. Although we are gifted with beatiful lanscapes at few minutes away from the city. Beaches in the Atlantic and the Pacific, mountains and tropical forests are all around. Now Panama City has also a huge amount of entretainment choices, such as all kinds of restaurants (literaly, museums, and events. @Spas, you are right – I a lot of cases “cheap” airlines are not so cheap if your luggage weight a little more then they allow and they are very strict about it.

Yes, I have to agree with this article. I had heard a lot about Panama from friends who had visited, but I never took their claims seriously until recently. One of my friends convinced me to go with her and it really was a wonderful city! We went shopping--amazing malls--and on tours, the city is just gorgeous!! I recommend for anyone to visit! I also recommend staying at the Veneto , that's where we stayed and it was very pretty and had good service. If you go on a tour, ask for Oscar. He was funny and knowledgeable and we were very glad guest services at our hotel set us up with him!!

Very useful information, I notice Ryan air has the lowest limit of 15Kg then £12 for each additional Kg and bag checking each way at £16. Now that could work out very expensive!!
