Panama City, Explore the Unexplored

13 June 2009 6 Comments

I quite a bit like the places that are not flooded with tourists and yet undiscovered fully. While searching such place in United Kingdom, I figured out that Cornwall County is such a place; thinking as an world explorer, I would talk highly about Panama city. Panama has been in the top 5 places in the world for living after retirement for 8 years according to International Living Magazine. Though there are many factors responsible, low taxes, affordable housing, tropical climate, and contemporary, bilingual entertainment lures people to this place.

Am I already planning my retirement? Not really, but doing a research on where I would like to live after few years would not harm. I would talk about all such cities that fit into specific liking of various personalities. Panama is for people who love to relax, chill, and use their money to the best, gamble quite a bit, like skylines. I would say such place could be called as World’s haven if not less.

I would love the idea of visiting this place as tourist and explore it bit more. I have plans to visit Central America in mid 2010, and Panama would be in my list of places to visit. Just like my recent visits in Europe, I would go with recommendations for hotels and tours and have already been recommended by acquaintances for panama hotels. May be they knew that I love to gamble in my free time and Therapeutic Massages. I would come back to this hotel, as I just did my research about it. Meanwhile, I would just take a tour to Panama.

Anyone who has a little bit idea about Panama would think about canals, and it’s true; Panama is city of canals. But it’s much more than that though. Panama City has a dense skyline of mostly high-rise apartment buildings and condos. You go fifteen miles from downtown panama city, and you would land up in brilliant destination for hiking and birding. It’s Soberania National Park. There are many places like beaches, mountains, and rain forests around.

It’s way too good idea to visit this city and spend few days as a tourist initially and explore it. Veneto hotel and casino is such a place, where you would have best of the best in the world. Though it’s a newly opened, it has everything inside you would probably strive for on a vacation. For comparatively low prices with other five star hotels, this hotel offered onsite restaurants with nightlife you probably would look for. The hotel rooms look ultra comfortable, with crisp linens and duvets. The blue carpet in the room and furniture make the rooms look elegant.

Beneath the coupled gold faints the painless catalog.

I must agree with you about Cornwall in the UK.There are lots of out of the way spots that are completely unknown with the tourists. Our favourite area of Cornwall is on The Channel Side close to Mevagissey.
    Say no more lol

Yes, I have to agree with this article. I had heard a lot about Panama from friends who had visited, but I never took their claims seriously until recently. One of my friends convinced me to go with her and it really was a wonderful city! We went shopping–amazing malls–and on tours, the city is just gorgeous!! I recommend for anyone to visit! I also recommend staying at the Veneto , that’s where we stayed and it was very pretty and had good service. If you go on a tour, ask for Oscar. He was funny and knowledgeable and we were very glad guest services at our hotel set us up with him!!

I’m from Panama, born and raised, and is a wonderful city. It had grown so much in just few years. But Panama City is kind of noisy, lots of traffic and cars. Although we are gifted with beatiful lanscapes at few minutes away from the city. Beaches in the Atlantic and the Pacific, mountains and tropical forests are all around. Now Panama City has also a huge amount of entretainment choices, such as all kinds of restaurants (literaly, museums, and events. Check out Panama’s web page http://www.visitpanama.com, and you’ll see lots of info…
